Sardinia is a unique island in the heart of the Mediterranean Basin, its colours touch all the infinite nuances that go through the blue of its sea up to the green of its woods. This colour variety combined with its culture, which is the fruit of a history that is as ancient as it is unique, contributes to making Sardinia a special place.

Artigianato Pasella aims to maintain a direct contact with the colours and the evocative elements of its land. In fact all of its pottery lines, which are currently more than ten, talk of the tradition and culture of this marvelous island.

The Pasella Pottery Workshop (Laboratorio di Ceramica Pasella) was established in 1995 following the encounter of an expert Master Potter and five brilliant young artists. The best Sardinian clays are beautifully worked and skilfully decorated with enamels and colours that are born of and produced by the fantasy of this group of artisans; each product is entirely made by hand with all the qualities and little flaws that this entails and this contributes to making each artwork a unique piece.

In all the creations of Artigianato Pasella it is possible to identify the details with which they are created and that make them special, such as the mark of the lead of the Master who engraved the pattern or the brush of the artist who coloured it. The slightest detail is looked after with masterful attention, in an effort to preserve the beauty and cleanness of ancient Sardinian works but with a constant attention for innovation and for a more modern style.

SCULPTURES

A shapeless handful of land can turn into small works of art. Clay, when it is still soft, is moulded to give life to objects with the most diverse forms, from colourful fishes decorated with the shades of the sea to the classic lapwings, children of the Sardinian tradition.
